The herds of both red and fallow deer which can be seen in the two deer enclosures within the country estate, are extremely popular. House and gardens

Ashton Court Mansion dates from the 14th century. The west face (west face of what?) dates from about the 16th Century and leads to a 14th Century Medieval Hall. The mansion itself is only occasionally open to the public. There are several lodges on the entrances to the estate, which offer interesting historic insights.. The estate gardens are open to the public and include a ha-ha with a view looking down over Smyth Field. There is a glorious rose garden renewed in 2006.
