The West’s world famous visitor attraction in Filton, Bristol stars Concorde 216 – Alpha Foxtrot – which made is spectacular final flight home into Filton on 26 November 2003.

This is the temporary home for Concorde 216. Based on the main Airbus site in Filton, where local organisations and companies are supporting the creation of a major aviation heritage centre,. It is hoped that this will become an aviation museum to preserve Concorde 216 for all to see, using the plane as the central attraction and explaining the history of the aviation industry in the area.
Concorde on loan
British Airways has loaned Concorde 216 to Airbus UK, who campaigned hard to bring the aircraft back to Filton. The Bristol Aero Collection, a local aviation preservation charity, is managing Concorde at Filton through its team of enthusiastic and hard working volunteers. All proceeds will be used for the creation of a major aviation heritage centre at Filton into which G-BOAF will move.
